PROJECTS

The Suckening
Back in 2023, Just Roll With It, a TTRPG actual-play show, contracted me to lead the Character Art development for their upcoming campaign: The Suckening. A modern-day vampire campaign set in Los Angeles that dabbled between horror and comedy. I worked from early October 2023 to late May 2024, creating 30+ character assets for their public episodes (excluding many silhouetted background characters).
I was given detailed descriptions and references for the main player characters, as seen above, but was expected to concept the rest from scratch. I drew inspiration from my own interests and familiar media I believed would work well with the story and the characters given to me. There was little canon description of the non-player characters, which allowed me some freedom to diversify the cast where possible and individualize the characters as I saw fit.
This project tested my abilities to the max, especially my time management. I was in college full-time, earning my degree in Illustration while designing and completing multiple sprites each week. All assets were turned over biweekly for upload throughout the project. The campaign was recorded as audio-only, so my sprites were vital as visual aids to help improve the viewing experience on YouTube and make scenes easier to follow.

Zine Work: Prime Archive & Your Apotheosis
Outside of work for JRWI and college, I often participated in Zines within fan communities. This has lead to incredible opportunities and helped me to create some of my most proud work to this day.
Enamel Pins
Often for these projects I was brought on to design merchandise for people to purchase alongside the zine itself. Both zines had me create uniquely themed enamel pins based off each show the zine was centered on. For Prime Archive, the creator Organ had me lead the merchandise team to create not only enamel pins, but to help other merch team members with their work and organization.

Dragon Age Annual
In 2022, I was accepted to join Dragon Age Annual, an unofficial calendar zine entirely themed around the popular RPG Dragon Age. I have participated every year since then and always strive to join the next. Though challenging, it is an incredible project to be apart of; one I am always honored to be able to join again every year.
This last year I was given the honor to design the cover for DAA’s Zine. A difficult cover to get done, but one I and the rest of the team are happy with.
